My 2 training flights were to Calicut, India, and Karachi, Pakistan.
Calicut flight was a little bit crazy, it was full load.
The passengers (pax) were most Indian labourers, so first time on a plane and maybe first time going home in 2 yrs of working in Oman. So they cannot speak much English and they just sat asking for vhiskey viskey and shake their heads in the Indian way! hehe.
Next flight was Karachi, light load! yay! i flew with 2 omani male crew, 2 phillipino girls, all very nice crew :)
So because this was my second flight I had to go in the front and help the R1 with business class,
On Indian sector flights business class is rarely full. We had just 3 pax, so I helped out there.
Then I had one pax ask for comment cards, so I brought him one, and he asked for pen and what my name was. :0 So at the end of the flight he came and thanked us and gave us the card.
The SFS ( senior flight supervisor) took it. After pax had disembarked he showed it to me.
He had written, that he enjoyed his flight, the service was very good , especially miss Lydia! lol!
And that he would fly with Oman air again! My SFS wrote it in flight report so it should go on my file.
I think I just stood out because I am new so I am still smiling a lot and being polite and friendly, maybe it wont last long! hehe.
So I am a little bit tired today, the heat really drains your energy! I don't think you can even imagine it, we landed at 6.50 am and it was 36 degrees celsius!! I used to walk to shop 5 mins away during the day , now its impossible and even at night it is becoming very hard.
Great first post Lydia!
